Smart Delivery Boxes
Flyby, a smart delivery startup and digital outdoor advertising company, raised $1M from FHS Capital and VN2 Capital.
Flyby has an embedded UV lighting system that sanitizes the contents of the box on each delivery and an embedded sensors with telemetry data, including GPS position, acceleration, and speed.
In addition, the delivery boxes can also double up as mobile advertising spaces for use by fleet operators and restaurants.
Flyby is expected to be seen on the streets of Dubai in the first quarter of 2023.
The Sprint
Sprinque, a B2B payments platform that enables merchants and marketplaces to offer Pay by Invoice with net payment terms to buyers online, raised €6M from Connect Ventures, Kraken Ventures, Inference Partners, SeedX, Antler, Volta Ventures, and Force Over Mass.
The Edit LDN, a sneaker reseller company that connects buyers with premium resellers offering authenticated items, raised $4.8M from Regah Ventures, Xavier McKinney, PJ Tucker and Jesse Lingard.
Quantum Temple, a Web3 platform that uses blockchain technology and NFTs to preserve cultural heritage and facilitate exchanges between collectors and ancestral communities, raised $2M from Borderless Capital, Algorand Foundation, Outliers Fund, Shima Capital, New Moon Ventures, and NxGen.
EnsiliTech, a biopharmaceutical company that has developed a patented platform technology that keeps vaccines at the right temperature during transportation, raised £1.2M from Science Angel Syndicate, Fink Family Office, QantX, Elbow Beach Capital and Innovate UK.
Diamante, a biotechnology that provides a novel therapeutic approach toward autoimmune diseases based on the restoration of self-tolerance, raised $595K from Arieli Capital, Elena Paola Lanati and associations Angels4Women and Angels4Impact.
MoviePass, a technology platform that provides a movie theatre subscription service offering the ability to attend new movies in theatres, raised an undisclosed amount from Claritas Capital, Emerald Plus, Gaingels, Harlem Capital, PKO VC and Sandhill Angels.
Fund Talk
Runi Ventures, Reichman University's venture capital fund, raised $30M to help their students and graduates with promising startups.
The newly-established venture capital fund will offer $500,000 to each startup in the pre-seed stage.
Successful candidates will also be provided with workspace, guidance from academics and industry experts, and access to students from the university as interns or employees.
